Sales are subject to the following terms and conditions of sale: Bidding is available by live in-house bidding, absentee, and telephone, with an 10% buyer's premium, and live internet bidding is available with a 18% buyer's premium. Payment is due at the end of the auction by cash, approved certified funds, approved check, Visa or MasterCard with a domestic U.S. billing address. North Carolina sales tax is 7.5%. PAYMENTS- All items purchased in person must be paid for on sale day. All items purchased via absentee, phone, or live internet bidding must be paid for upon receipt of invoice and within five business days of sale date. If a buyer fails to contact VSA within five (5) business days following the sale, the credit card used to secure the bid will be charged the amount of the invoice. For items purchased through live internet bidding, VSA will contact and send an invoice to all winning bidders via e-mail at the completion of the auction. If paying by check, VSA reserves the right to hold the item(s) until the check has cleared. Payments can be made by cash, approved certified funds, approved check, Visa or MasterCard with a domestic U.S. billing address. Credit card payments are subject to a $5,000 limit. International bidders will be required to pay by wire transfer. Wire transfer fees will be incurred by the buyer. At the auctioneer's discretion, certain lots will be required to be paid for by wire transfer.

The auctioneer always reserves the right to withdraw a lot for any reason she deems appropriate, including any lots that may have a reserve, or if there is a lack of bidding interest or lack of appropriate bids. VSA shall have the right to withdraw any item at any time for any reason and to default any sale in the event of an error or dispute.

All registered bidders may bid in-person at the live auction at Village Square Auctions. Absentee and phone bidding can be arranged before the live sale up to 1 hour before the start of the live auction. All bids must be secured with a credit card number. All absentee bids will be handled in a fair, competitive and confidential manner.
